Super Best Friends Do The Can Can With Megat ..It's a gloomy Friday in Brisbane - well it is a Sonic Masala show on tonight, and it has rained on every occasion, so it makes sense. Once again using The Mynabirds banner, their sophomore release Generals is a protest record wrapped in lush orchestrations. Taking cues from Sixties pop ( Radiator Sister , Buffalo Flower and title track Generals ) and modern day electronic indie - Body Of Work , Disaster , this album is far more political lyrically.
