We Say Die! has implemented some significant changes. In a statement they commented: We have talked at great length with each other and our families and friends about the future. Devon's parents have encouraged us to continue on and given us their blessing. It is their opinion (as well as ours) that Devon would never have wanted his death to end the band. You Say Party continue on without their drum ..You Say Party! We Say Die! was shocked earlier this year when drummer Devon Clifford passed away. Though the hearts of the indie rock community went out to the Canadian band, there was something haunting about the word "die" in the act's name. The band announced that they are continuing on without Clifford while honoring his memory, but there will be a bit of a name chance for them. You Say Party! News in Brief: You Say Party, Admiral Radley ..-- Earlier this year, Devon Clifford, the drummer for the Canadian dance-punk band You Say Party! We Say Die! , died of a brain hemorrhage after an onstage collapse. The band will continue on without him, but they've changed their name, quite understandably, to simply You Say Party.
