As of this morning you can check out the 'C' section of his alphabetised collection, which starts with Witches by C , and ends with We All Know Who We Are by Cameo . Ekoplekz - Scalectrikz & the New Radiophonic ..The sound of two hands not clapping. This is the latest monster release from the ever-prolific Ekoplekz, this time seeing him flip cassettes from selected live bits and bobs (more bobs than bits, judging from his live performances) to studio improvisations and back again. There’s a wealth of material here, unformed and fruity, mangled like he likes it (like we like it) Echo dominates, nothing goes unmodulated, sounds screwed out of wires, savaged by electrics and misfires (and miswires). DMX Krew "Turing Test"A new, six-track EP is set to drop on Voltaire Records from a certain Ed Upton (of Rephlex fame), once again producing as DMX Krew . Creating spacey, urban dancefloor cuts from his analog-laden studio, Upton crafts a haunting electro jaunt on "Turing Test," a song taken from the aforementioned East Side Boogie EP , which is due out on May 8. Hard-hitting stabs of bass and vintage synthesizers punctuate the stuttering flow of this jam, writhing on several different melodies and resolutions before arriving at a chugging bassline that closes out the gritty proceedings.
