Best of 2010 (20-11)20. LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening I have mixed feelings about this album. Is it really really good or really really really good? Field Music Prepare Double AlbumSunderland indie group Field Music are set to blast out of their self-imposed exile with a new double album. Field Music emerged from the same North East milieu that spawned The Futureheads, yet have their own distinct voice. Releasing their eponymous debut album in 2005, the band sparked a cult following. A rarities collection followed soon thereafter, before all things Field Music began to get a little complicated. Speaking to BBC 6Music, Field Music singer David Brewis claimed that he wanted to move away from the group. jet setQuiet some time ago, so I can't remember exactly how, but i got in touch with Marius Vareid or he got in touch with me, mails were exchanged and he send me the really delicious Donald Fagan sampling slice of loveliness that is 'Song For Sara', a track that i don't think ever saw the light of day as a proper release. Later on of course you'll know he featured on these pages again with his Promo Mix for Maxi Records and his first release for the label (that's still available here ). Louderbachpic: Mr Bingo Vareid - Skumle Planer ( buy ) This track really does remind me of summer. I heard it a bit last year without actually pinning down what exact track it was, so imagine my joy when I randomly stumbled upon Marius Vareid 's Skumle Planer released on Full Pupp .
