Australia’s Laneway Festival proves a remedy to those sick of the crowded, aggressive vibe which has crept into a lot of the countries’ major festivals. Created in 2004 and held in the slender back streets of Melbourne’s CBD, Laneway has spawned into a seven-city journey, stretching as far as Singapore.
