News: In Brief: Ivy League, Sarah Blasko, Pu ..Cloud Control (pictured), Cabins, Catcall and Wons Phreely will perform at Ivy League ’s Spring Break party at Goodgod Small Club in Sydney on September 17. The evening will also feature a performance by new signing Alpine, a Melbourne six-piece formerly known as Swiss. Entry is $20 and includes a limited-edition CD sampler showcasing the bands’ “most up-to-date sonic achievements”. Tickets are only available on the door. Western Australia’s love affair with Sarah Blasko continues with the singer adding a third show to her upcoming tour. THE VERSES – Seasons(Warner) Not at all like Fleetwood Mac, actually Two things you should know immediately about The Verses’ début album, Seasons: (1) The Verses are Ella and Jesse Hooper, of Killing Heidi fame; (2) a lot of people will try to tell you that Seasons is inspired by or sounds like Fleetwood Mac.
