The National have written an epic oeuvre for The Game of Thrones , which will appear on the Season 2 soundtrack. Matt Berninger's rich, raspy voice provides that irresistible drama the band so masterfully creates, which is so fitting for the popular drama. According to Game Of Thrones' website forums, “The Rains of Castamere” is about the “violent dynastic struggles among the kingdom’s noble families for control of the Iron Throne.” Check it out above.

A collection of 4AD  music and artwork is being auctioned on eBay  to raise money for  Natasha Laflin , a British artist and illustrator who suffered a near fatal bain aneurysm in 2008.
