I've never quite understood the adulation thrown at the feet of Drake, but I'm a curmudgeon, I guess? News: Watch: Gotye On Saturday Night Live ..Gotye has been lauded for his performance on Saturday Night Live over the weekend, with one US critic describing it as “one of the best” of the season. Gotye performed two tracks, 2010 single ‘Eyes Wide Open’ and ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ with Kiwi Kimbra Johnson, also in her SNL debut. Lonely Island Member & 'MacGruber' Director ..It seems the only member of the Lonely Island yet to make a feature directing debut is Andy Samberg. But he may be so busy in front of camera, he may not want to get behind it just yet. Until he does, his two bros are doing just fine on their with Akiva Schaffer behind the crew's "Hot Rod" and this summer's "Neighborhood Watch," and Jorma Taccone lending his skills to the bonkers "MacGruber." Music Review: The Magnetic Fields - Love at ..The Magnetic Fields Love at the Bottom of the Sea [Merge; 2012] by Ed Comentale Rating: I hate to say it, but Love at the Bottom of the Sea is such a drag: a damp and dreary album, drowning in bad faith and bad jokes. In fact, while the album is being touted as a return to form, reminiscent of 1999’s excellent 69 Love Songs , the band only seems to have given into its worst tendencies — comedy, cutesiness, and camp — all of which, used in excess here, destroy any sense of music itself. HBO's Excellent New Comedy 'Girls' Premieres ..Here's a question: How long will it take before the inevitable My So-Called Life reboot? If the scavenging of our past continues unchecked (see: 90210 , Melrose Place , Footloose ), it's only a matter of time until the prematurely canceled series appears ripe for rediscovery, an elevator pitch that starts and ends with, "Hey, remember this?" Bless Girls ' creator Lena Dunham for not doing exactly that. The actress/director/producer/writer was only eight when My So-Called Life debuted in 1994, but her half-hour dramedy, which premieres on HBO on April 15, is hands down the most resonant series about ...Spin14 March 2012
