This isn't normally my kinda thing, but some upbeat Robert Smith on a dreary Friday seemed like a good idea. The band is Lightsout , a Brooklyn indie duo who formed over a mutual love of The Cure front man and Emily Haines from Metric, not a bad launchpad really. Even though Dark Shadows will probably be remembered as the first bomb of the 2012 Summer movie season, the closing credits to the film held a nice surprise. The Killers popped up, performing a cover of The Raspberries’ 1972 hit, “Go All The Way”.
