Focusing on a burnt-out skate-punk in Southern California, Patterson’s debut documentary piqued our interest and flirted with larger issues while remaining completely grounded in the reality of the lives it depicted. Steve Soto of Adolescents was interviewed recently before an acoustic performance, where he revealed that his band is in the studio now recording an EP. The record will be a vinyl-only, Europe-only release, to coincide with the band's upcoming European tour this summer. Concrete Jungle Records, who put out the band's 2011 album The Fastest Kid Alive , will be releasing the EP.

Punk News : Recently, the Huffington Post ran an article by pop culture columnist Lisa Derrick in which Derrick used SST records as an example as to why the current “take down” provisions of the Digital Millennia Copyright Act are inefficient and prone to abuse by internet content providers. But then again, I grew up in Los Angeles surrounded by Mexican American culture. Authority Zero has announced the dates for their European tour this summer. The band will tour across Europe beginning on July 19th, 2011 and perform at Resurrection Fest in Spain and the Rebellion Festival in the UK, as well as shows alongside The Adolescents, Street Dogs, and punk legends Pennywise.
