The Belligerents :: InfatuationGot sent this excellent indie pop track "Infatuation" from Brisbane, Australia band The Belligerents . The track harkens back to the days of 90's Brit-Pop. Such an amazing chorus! They just don't make tracks like this much anymore. It is the first single from their upcoming EP She Calls the Shots which will be out in May . Capital Cities are definitely one of the hottest up-and-coming artists in town. Based out of Los Angeles, they first caught my attention with their mashup of Pink Floyd and Tupac (which is phenomenal). This time they’re back with some quality original content. “Kangaroo Court” is an upbeat electro-pop track that wreaks of Chromeo (but arguably better, by my personal taste). News: Triple J Reveals ‘Second’ Hottest 100 ..In the lead-up to triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown on Australia Day, eventual list topper Gotye revealed how he’d like to see Godley & Creme-inspired album track ‘State of The Art’ make the cut.
