Following the release of the Echo of Love EP in April, The Shutes have teamed up with iconic designer Switchopen to create a series of 80 hand-printed posters through Cross Key Records. The four-piece from the Isle of Wight released their five-track Echo of Love EP last month, produced by Julian Simmons (Guillemots, Midlake) now joining Switchopen to create this limited black and silver screen-print. The poster also comes with a free download of the EP ( buy here ). The Shutes will be supporting Eugene McGuiness at the Old Queen's Head on June 7th.

Optimistically touted the 'first major festival of the summer', with the Saturday of this year's Camden Crawl quite factually cooler than Christmas the notorious bank holiday blowout gets off to a somewhat slow and strangely tepid start. Three Trapped Tigers bemuse with virtuoso, if exquisitely accomplished aspirational unpleasantness that's ultimately as insipid as an infinity wired into Xfm, whilst Samuel Manville's Hymns breed a reedy unholiness in the grim depths of The Underworld.
