Organisers of Supersonic festival in Birmingham have today announced a very special and exclusive addition to this years line up. Body/Head will be making the event their only UK performance of 2012. The collaborative outfit featuring Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon and Boston guitarist Bill Nace have only ever played a handful of shows and have just the one physical release to their name, a limited edition cassette. Moritat is a power trio from Chicago that blends all sorts of different Rock sub-genres. At once they can sound like Yo La Tengo, Sonic Youth and Redhead">Blonde Redhead, while retaining harmonies and spacey noises that are uniquely their own. The group already has one EP under their belt, One Minute Fade, and they will release their first full length, Clill Blanzin on 6/26. The band's new single "Cats" is available for download.
