John Watts - Bigbeatpoetry (1999)This is roughly contemporaneous, and in a similar musical pattern with the Fischer-Z album Ether which came out three years after this, and a lot closer to it in style than its predecessor. When all is said and done Bigbeatpoetry is not a bad piece of work all things considered, but it could have been a lot lot better in my view. John Watts makes some clever observations with this album which is what you would expect from him. The album is very much more mellow in tone than some of his earlier work.
