This one is arguably the most orthodox of the series, featuring several "household names" from the French coldwave/touching pop scene, many making their first or second recorded appearance here. Every band here hails from France, with the exception of The Cultural Decay (Belgium), and a rare track from Factory darlings Section 25. Kapowski - Section 8 (Official Video)Received some more new music in my inbox this week and this time it was in the form of a music video. Kapowski is an Oakland based pop quartet that originally started off by making home recordings a few years back. Per their press release: "“Section 8” features stuttering drums, a spry bass line, a scratchy organ and a mesmeric piano line that sets the foundation for Jesse Rimler’s (lead vocals) wistful lyrics."
