News: Triple J Reveals ‘Second’ Hottest 100 ..In the lead-up to triple j’s Hottest 100 countdown on Australia Day, eventual list topper Gotye revealed how he’d like to see Godley & Creme-inspired album track ‘State of The Art’ make the cut. Laneway Music Festival 2012: Top 5 Artists ..Australia’s Laneway Festival proves a remedy to those sick of the crowded, aggressive vibe which has crept into a lot of the countries’ major festivals. Created in 2004 and held in the slender back streets of Melbourne’s CBD, Laneway has spawned into a seven-city journey, stretching as far as Singapore. This year’s line-up was nothing short of breathtaking, with artists the likes of Feist, Active Child, M83 and SBTRKT (full line-up here ) performing. This year headliners Jack White, Beck, and Bon Iver will bring their latest batch of stuff to the Memorial Day weekend festival at The Gorge in George, Washington.
