Sydney garage-punk foursome Royal Headache released their spectacular self-titled debut just a few days back, and have already caught wind with the album’s first video for ‘Girls.’ Lawrence Hall, guitarist for the band, directed the short, retro-shot video of the band’s early beginnings. Royal Headache’s world domination plans have taken a slight hit with visa issues forcing the cancellation of at least four shows on their upcoming US tour. The band were set to leave for the US next week but a processing delay by the US State Department has lead to the postponement of dates in Los Angeles, Oakland, Santa Barbara and Phoenix. It certainly can't hurt to kick off about this week's new releases by mentioning the new album from Silversun Pickups . Their album Neck of the Woods (pictured) is out this week, and it's just hard to imagine a band that works harder. Overall, it's a good week for indie releases. Not only from Silversun Pickups, but also S. Carey , Royal Headache , and Here We Go Magic . Dee Snider (that dude from Twisted Sister ) has a solo record and The Duke Spirit get remixed.
