Damon Albarn, OutKast’s Andre 3000 and former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy are set to release a collaboration for Converse, the Sun reports. The track is a part of Converse’s “Three Artists, One Song” series, which has seen collaborations between Andrew W.K., Matt and Kim, and Soulja Boy, and another between Kid Cudi, Best Coast and Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij.

Discovery is the brainchild of Rostam Batmanglij of Vampire Weekend and Wesley Miles of Ra Ra Riot – although if I had to guess before I googled, I would have put my money on a collaboration between Regina Spektor and MGMT, with their melding of effortless (and sometimes dolphin sound-esque) lyrics backed by some addictive indietronica.

Summarising 'Don’t Let It Get To' by Vampire Weekend man Rostam Batmanglij could be reduced to a 'greater than' symbol, with his day job on the losing side - but that wouldn't come close to describing the cosmic beauty of the track. It's underpinned by a good pop sensibility (which you'd expect unless he was trying really hard to distance himself from VW) but garnished with tribal beats and swirling effects, resulting in a wonderfully uplifting track.
