New Pics From 'The Amazing Spider-Man' Provi ..Superhero movies have been split down a pretty clear line when it comes to villains. There are the reality based baddies like we've seen in Christopher Nolan's Batman movies (Bane, The Joker), the more fantastical sort of antagonists like Loki or Red Skull in the Marvel movies, or just plain bizarre like that bad times vibe cloud in "Green Lantern." Marc Webb seems to be straddling the real and fantastical with "The Amazing Spider-Man," the franchise reboot that will see Rhys Ifans move from wife-stealing professor in "The Five-Year Engagement" to scientist-turned-CGI thingy villain. Nobody Tells Tom Hardy Anything: 'Mad Max 4' ..Poor Tom Hardy. First the actor is forced to grow an unwieldy beard as prep for his starring role in the upcoming “Mad Max” reboot, only to have the start date pushed back countless times. Then, while in Cannes this week helping to promote John Hillcoat's “Lawless,” Hardy confessed he still had no clue when shooting began. However, it seems Hardy was either off trimming his beard when news struck, or co-star Charlize Theron is just more aware of these things, because the actress today revealed the film is set to shoot very soon, as in next week. Hanging Out At Cannes, Brad Pitt Talks 'The ..“The Counselor,” the first original screenplay by Cormac McCarthy, is set to begin shooting in just a few short weeks with Ridley Scott at the helm.
