  • Tours: Rancid announced scattered dates
    Rancid have announced some non-consecutive tour dates spread over the next few months. The veteran punks will be hitting San Francisco for two shows with Cock Sparrer , festivals in Europe (Groezrock, Rebellion Punk Music Festival, Rock in IdRho), Punk Rock Bowling and one-offs in Albany, NY and Boston, MA. The band's main goal for 2012 was to record a new full length with longtime friend and producer Brett Gurewitz.     The copyright battle continues on another front as a UK Patents County Court judge found that copyright infringement could occur even if the photo has been recreated from scratch. According to the ruling , " copying a photograph does not require a facsimile reproduction, it is enough to recreate the scene or a substantial part of it.
