Usually, edits of tunes this hallowed are resigned to the bootleg bin, but this is a legit release courtesy Virgin UK, making us feel like we should send fresh flowers to someone in the A&R; department over there, in a show of appreciation. Fidgety Norwegian Hans-Peter Lindstrøm is flying solo once again after a four year absence, following successful yet hugely differing collaborations with Prins Thomas and Christabelle. 2008's 'Where You Go I Go Too' featured just the three tracks (with the longest at 29 minutes), and an LP of a continuos undulating nature that was more an instrumental smooth disco-tastic mix than your traditional album. Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas have a remix of Roxy Music's track "Avalon" originally released in 1982. A winding spaced out (do they do any other kind?) electronic track. For those that don't know Bryan Ferry headed the band Roxy Music back in the 1970s. You can see a video of Mr. Ferry performing the song live back in 1982 . These are pretty cool. To celebrate the re-release of their self-titled debut album, Roxy Music have commissioned two of their tracks to be remixed. Norwegian disco legend Todd Terje has taken on the iconic 'Love Is The Drug' while Lindstrøm and Prins Thomas have space-aged 'Avalon'.
