New York cyberpunks Pop. 1280 recently premiered their new video for "Bodies In The Dunes," their latest single. The video was directed by Jacqueline Castel, a hyper-talented director who makes tense, kinetic work under her Future Primitive production house. Raleigh, NC’s big-big music festival has gotten even bigger this year, with the addition of historical (and possibly haunted!!!) sounding venues like the Long View Center, Memorial Auditorium and the Contemporary Art Museum to its 15 venues strong festival map. Holy fucking shit. Fern by Seattle's Dreamdecay is my favourite album right now, and it needs to be yours too. This is one inexorably torturous journey for someone slowly and not very subtly spontaneously combusting - and it is pure joy. This is what the Cenobites mean in Hellraiser , not that fucking box and the barb wire and the flaying of flesh!!
