On February 4, Northern California hardcore boundary-pushers Ceremony performed at New York venue Le Poisson Rouge alongside special guests Pissed Jeans and several other rowdy acts of Ceremony's choosing. New York/New Jersey-based punk band Night Birds have announced a slew of upcoming East Coast tour dates this spring, including shows with legendary punk and hardcore bands Cocksparrer, Cro-Mags, Screeching Weasel, The Queers, and Pissed Jeans (tour dates below). Surrounded by echoed electric guitar, sinister rhythm patterns, and cutting synth, Gibson — former drummer for Pennsylvania stoner-metal outfit Pearls & Brass — unfurls an unsettling, elliptical tale in a gritty baritone.
