PEARLY GATE MUSIC – Pearly Gate Music(Bella Union/Shock) Folk rock wanderings of one Zach Tillman Pearly Gate Music is the lo-fi folk project of singer/musician Zach Tillman (brother of Foxes">Fleet Foxes’ drummer Joshua). While he superficially shares the influences of the FFs (baroque folk rock), PGM is a far looser, rawer affair. It opens with the cosmically bummed Golden Funeral then surprises by following that downbeat number with a spirited range of percussive folk pop jams.
