  • Live Review: The Butterfly Effect + Numbers ..
With the incredible Clint Boge departing from the band, EFFECTED marks the final tour by Australian band The Butterfly Effect with its original line up. The question is, though, how was their final Sydney concert? Dave Roberts tells all... You know, I’m not the biggest Butterfly Effect fan. Don’t get me wrong, they’re a fantastic band. But I’m not the type of person who knows every single one of their songs, including the unreleased special edition fan only EP of which only ten copies were released to four very special people – I just don’t like ...

  • The Butterfly Effect / Numbers Radio / Green ..
King’s Beach Tavern - Sat May 5 It’s no wonder why Greenthief have been selected to open up tonight’s proceedings; with slick hard rock sounds and sludgy solos their sound is an homage to ‘90s post-grunge psychedelia.  Although, frontman Julian Schweitzer’s paisley shirt seems at odds with this until he delivers his Billy Corgan-like vocals, supported by prodigiously talented drummer, Steve Tyssen; Greenthief definitely live up to their media hype. Their set, unfortunately, is far too shor ...

South Africa's Seether performed to an almost full-house at Sydney's Metro Theatre on February 5, 2012; supported by Brisbane's Numbers Radio . Numbers Radio put their trained talents to fine use on the Metro stage and surely won some new fans with their own brand of driving rock. All three members are clearly excellent musicians, playing tight and appearing to have a good time. read more

  • Jebediah / Violent Soho / Numbers Radio
The Hi-Fi - Fri Jun 3 Numbers Radio squeeze the most out of their three-piece line-up, swapping vocals between David Orr (lead guitar) and Robbie Carlyon (bass) for greater range, while Mark Henman beats the drums like they just insulted his mother. Songs like Boring and Come On showcase their talent for fast, catchy frantic rock. When they let Henman loose on the final track, the audience laps it up. The crowd’s packed in for the start of Violent Soho’s set, and if more bands checked their le ...
