Nika Danilova, the haunting chanteuse behind Zola Jesus, is planning a special acoustic collaboration at the Guggenheim on May 10. JG Thirlwell, Brooklyn-based mastermind behind Foetus and producer of many other ridiculous stage names (Manorexia and Steroid Maximus to name but two; body issues?), will create string arrangements based on nine Zola Jesus tunes from her last two albums, Stridulum ( TMT Review ) and Conatus ( TMT Review ).
