A number of cassettes containing a collection of song ideas by the former Gun Club frontman was unearthed when Pierce's house was cleared, and now a group of artists including Nick Cave, Mick Marvey, Debbie Harry, Mark Lanegan and Isobel Campbell have completed the songs for a new album entitled The Journey Is Long.
