She's So Rad from Auckland, New Zealand have a perfect handle on this aesthetic, slowing their lead single, "Confetti" down a third from what most modern record producers would recommend. "Confetti" slides along with the Dramamine haze that would have never survived most band's rehearsal let alone the audio compression and the double-tracked vocals and the chorus that has to appear in the first 40 seconds. Revenge of the Quick Ripple Bursts - Featuri ..Caustic Casanova - Someday You Will Be Proven Correct An entirely savory amalgamation of stoner, post-punk, post metal, psychedelia, indy, and even a touch of space rock. In fact, there's probably more mixed into the stew but my palate is too naive to detect it all. What I can say is that the concoction works and tastes magnificent.
