Visit Indie Shuffle to download. Sounds like: Kanye, Baauer, Dane//Close, Diplo, Kid Cudi, Song: TRAVI$ SCOTT - Lights (Love Sick) [download here ] What's so good? Travis$ Scott is a 19-year-old Houston native, and a perfect hybrid of everything I like about hip hop and electronic music. I was just talking to a friend about how those two genres love to flirt with each other, and here “Lights (Love Sick)” illustrates that musical babies are indeed being made. So, yes — Travis$ Scott sounds a lil like Yeezy here, but not elsewhere . Elsewhere, his style is everywhere like a bona fide ...

Juni erscheinenden Album "All Of Us, Together" vertreten sein, welches via Lefse Records erscheint.

Jordan Craig, Jonathan McFarlane, James Crook and Paul Johnson, all from Glenrothes, formed Tango in the Attic in 2008. Two years later they released their debut album  Bank Place Locomotive Society  which BBC 1 lauded as their Record of the Month. Since then the band has ventured around on their own agendas, releasing a bit of music here and there but nothing as substantial as that debut album, at least until recently. They have ...

The Atlantic Cities : Considering that Denton has well over 100 active bands in a city of just over 110,000 residents, it wasn’t a stretch of reasoning. The city serves as home or launching pad to bands as diverse as Midlake, Bowling for Soup, Eli Young Band, Neon Indian, and Sarah Jaffe. Even the local polka band, Brave Combo, has appeared on The Simpsons and won two Grammy Awards. Musical genres represented on any given night in the rehearsal spaces, house parties, and venues that fill Denton range from hip hop and doom metal to experimental folk and noise ...

  • Stream: Future of What
I miss chillwave's big moment a few summer's back. It was reminiscent of the "The Summer of George" except instead of relaxing because of a massive severance package from the Yankees, you kicked back on the peaceful shores of Neon Indian and their ilk. I want chillwave back and Brooklyn band Future of What might help make it happen. Blending a down-tempo feel with more synth-pop elements, the band have an intriguing sound and "I Wait For You" should serve as a great introduction. I Wait for

New York based Emil & Friends have taken their bright, poppy electronic sound and recorded an amped up version of Neon Indian's "Polish Girl." Get ready to turn the volume up, up, up. Emil had this to say about the single: “Originally a purely synth based uptempo dancefloor-glider, Alan Palomo’s single from his last LP “Polish Girl” was reworked in my head as a slow steady head banger, seemingly off of the Drive soundtrack, with obnoxious rock guitars pounding away on the down beats. Lather, rinse, and repeat. Listen here:
