Awhile back I wrote a post about the way in which “chillwave” was an unfortunate misnomer, as in actuality anything that falls under the banner of this “new genre” is essentially a continuation of dream pop (albeit a seemingly more homespun bedroom/laptop version.) Neon Indian's single "Fallout" got the Adult Swim treatment this week, featuring a pink-haired bombshell in a short skirt. The video plays as an Atari sex fantasy as the chick stuns everyone in sight until her most beautiful feature is revealed at the end.

Winning support from many people this past year, the synth-pop band Neon Indian unleashed a new video a few days ago for the song, "Fallout." This track was off their album, Era Extraña and they teamed up with Adult Swim and Flying Lotus collaborator Lilfuchs , to direct the video.
