Ever since Shara Worden (who performs as My Brightest Diamond) donned a cheerleader uniform to tour with Sufjan Stevens, there’s been an approachable, yet otherworldly presence about her. Since her time with the Illinoisemakers, Worden has produced three albums of material—wrapping big ideas about life and death in a chamber-pop beauty. Her new album, All Things Will Unwind, follows suit. Under the Radar caught up with the songstress via e-mail to get her take on collaborations, going out on a limb, and what current artist is making the next generation dance.

Micachu & the Shapes/ London Sinfonietta - Chopped & Screwed Ο δεύτερος δίσκος των Micachu είναι μια ζωντανή ηχογράφηση της μπάντας μαζί με την μικρή ορχήστρα του Λονδίνου. Μοιάζει με soundtrack τέλους του κόσμου, φοβερά ατμοσφαιρικό, μυστήριο, δυσοίωνο και περίεργο. Η μπάντα ακούγεται σα να έχει παγιδευτεί μέσα στο μάτι μιας μύγας, έχοντας μια ευρυγωνική, κάπως διεστραμμένη και σατανική άποψη για τον κόσμο. Δεν είναι άκουσμα για καλοκαιρινές βόλτες στην παραλία αλλά μια ιδιαίτερη ακρόαση που άλλοτε διαλύεται μπροστά στα μάτια σου, άλλοτε σέρνεται ακρωτηριασμένο λερώνοντας το πάτωμα και άλλοτε προσπαθεί ανεπιτυχώς να ανοίξει τα φτερά του να πετάξει μέχρι να προσγειωθεί με τα μούτρα. ATP are set to return to Japan later this year with a new instalment of I'll Be Your Mirror . Launched last year, I'll Be Your Mirror saw All Tomorrow's Parties head out to Japan. The success of that venture has sparked a repeat performance, with Jim O'Rourke set to help convene proceedings. It's the custom of All Tomorrow's Parties to invite a popular band or artist to curate its music festivals, and the installment scheduled for Dec. 7-9 in the U.K. follows suit with a lineup handpicked by The National. That lineup was announced today, and it's a strong one: Kronos Quartet, The Antlers, Owen Pallett, Boris, Tim Hecker, Sharon Van Etten, My Brightest Diamond, Wye Oak, Lower Dens, Megafaun, Suuns, Dark Dark Dark, and Buke and Gase. ATP today announced that The National will be curating their annual December festival at Butlins, Minehead, in what will also be the band's only UK show of 2012. The festival will take place on the weekend of 7th-9th December and tickets go on sale this Friday 20 January at 2pm via www.ATPFestival.com.
