Songs That Get My Juices Flowing #203I heard Wolves Like Us debut album Late Love when it came out last year, and I thought it was alright. A solid album, but nothing spectacular, nothing that stuck. Then recently I revisited it on a whim, and now it's ridiculous how I can't get enough of it. Extra ridiculous that it's just the kind of post hardcore alternative rock thing I purposely avoided like the plague back in the 90s when I was too busy listening to Entombed. Stubb - S/TTenacity and perseverance…two of the most essential personality traits to have as a rock musician in this day and age. Feuerzeug - Dead Wahines and TsunamisMark my words. When future music historians look back at the the career of Swiss sci-fi-toned stoner, heavy rockers, Feuerzeug , they're gonna to look at the album Dead Wahines and Tsumanis as the crux point of their career. Feuerzeug (swiss for the lighter ) blew me away with their hyper-charged stoner debut Drive Fast and Crash which I likened to "a herd of a thousand brontosaurs rampaging in your living room."
