Phantogram’s last record was a slow burner for me. It wasn’t until I saw the dynamic duo of Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel play live at SXSW (during the KCRW-sponsored Filter Magazine day showcase) that I realized they were something really special. While on tour along the west coast, Phantogram dropped by KEXP in Seattle to do a great set of tracks from their solid debut, Eyelid Movies. The band played "When I'm Small," "Bloody Palms," "As Far As I Can See," "16 Years" and "Don't Move." It's always surprising to realize that Phantogram can recreate the glistening sheen of their studio recordings, and this is no different. Download it here .

Active Child, the musical project of choirboy-turned-indie-pop musician Pat Grossi, is proud to release the new music video for the song "Playing House" featuring How To Dress Well which premieres HERE today. Isaac Ravishankara, who has previously done videos for Freelance Whales' "Hannah" and Phantogram's "When I'm Small," directed the video. The entire video was shot in Grossi's hometown of Los Angeles.
