The Joy Formidable – EndtapesJust when you might of thought we have gone remix crazy…how good is this track by The Joy Formidable? ’Endtapes’ has all the sounds that made a good Belly track mixed in with a healthy dose of Metric sounding wonderfulness!! Awesome stuff. News: New Video, US Deal For The Jezabels ..Sydney’s Jezabels have inked a deal with New York-based indie Mom+Pop that will see the release of debut full-length Prisoner in early 2012. The band now joins a roster that includes Brisbane’s An Horse, Neon Indian, Tokyo Police Club, Metric and Tired Pony (R.E.M’s Peter Buck and Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody). After winding up their national album tour tonight (November 4), The Jezabels will head to the US for a series of dates with Canada’s Hey Rosetta. Metric Go To The MoviesCanadian indie rock gods Metric (pictured) will be working with film composer Howard Shore (The Lord Of The Rings) to provide the score for a forthcoming David Cronenberg movie. The movie will be an adaptation of Don DeLillo’s novel Cosmopolis, in which a billionaire’s limo trip across Manhattan to get a haircut becomes an odyssey due to a string of increasingly bizarre interruptions.
