My favourite Marlon Brando role is not what ..People might cite The Godfather , A Streetcar named Desire, On the Waterfront or Apocalypse Now as Marlon Brando’s greatest films, and while they’re remarkable movies, I have to say that one of my favourite Brando films is none other than Don Juan DeMarco. Now I know it’s just a fluffy, cheesy, romantic comedy and not at all like the gritty, powerful and dramatic aforementioned films in Brando’s repertoire, but I think it’s a really great film! The Jackson 5 are reuniting after close to three decades of being defunct (Note: they were never de-funked). The surviving members, without their youngest and brightest shining brother Michael , have announced a series of live dates they are branding as the Unity Tour 2012. The tour will kick off June 18 in Louisville where the brothers -- Jackie, Jermain, Marlon and Tito -- will embark on their first tour since 1984. Vive Latino 2012: Day Twoby Claire Frisbie Saturday was the day to attend Vive Latino 2012—some of the most buzzed about acts of the past year were performing, Café Tacvba was headlining, tickets were sold out, and the sun was shining. We had our day mapped out to the minute. Columpio Asesino were already on the main stage, and I regret to report they were a bit underwhelming, but to no fault of their own, really.
