Metallica announce 'Orion Music and More' wi ..Metallica has unveiled their own festival, dubbed Orion Music and More , likely after the song of the same name on 1986's Master of Puppets . Metallica assembled the lineup for the festival, which will take place at Bader Field in Atlantic City on June 23rd and 24th. The metal band will close both nights and perform 1990's Metallica and 1984's Ride the Lightning in their entirety on each night respectively. The lineup spans a number of genres, with the list so far including: Arctic Monkeys , Avenged Sevenfold , Modest Mouse , The Gaslight Anthem , Elephant">Cage The Elephant , Fucked Up ...PunkNews8 February 2012

Metallica announce their own two-day festiva ..James Hetfield and his raw-as-hell gang of metal miscreants are proving that they’re as TROO as TROO METAL gets with the announcement of a two-day festival on June 23-24 featuring such brutal acts as Best Coast, Modest Mouse, Arctic Monkeys, and other aesthetically disciplined hard-asses. Metallica will headline both nights in Atlantic City, naturally, and they’re planning on playing The Black Album and Ride the Lightning in their entirety during it. Updated: Metallica Is Throwing a Two-Day Fes ..It’s called Orion, and it will be held at Bader Field in Atlantic City, New Jersey, a place Lars Ulrich referred to as having “a lot of fuck-off space.” During the livestream, James Hetfield said the fest is in tribute to Cliff Burton, Metallica’s former bassist who passed away in 1986—“Orion” refers to the song off Master of Puppets which features a massive solo from Burton. Tickets will be $150 and $175. Video: Cartright - "Jass Song"Cartright recently released their first music video, and it's one hell of a trip. The band shot the video for "Jass Song" about 6 months ago with Alex Nguyen at their house in Austin. The original idea was conceived by drummer Nick Cornetti, which then evolved into a swirling, mushroom-induced excursion of the mind. The leading lady role was donated by India Gail (who bartends at Cheer Up Charlies), and front man Ben Russell plays the fellow going out of his mind.
