Watching yesterday’s video by newvillagers made me dig through our record collection for anything similar, we were sure we’d heard that quirky electro-tribal sound before, and seen something similar played out in a video. Turns out what we were thinking of was this underrated track by Late of the Pier, released back in 2008 to very little fanfare as the nu-rave fad was starting to wear thin.
