The Mars Volta added to Hard Rock Calling bi ..The Mars Volta have been confirmed to appear on the bill at this year's Hard Rock Calling festival. The three-day event takes takes place at London's Hyde Park on July 13-15. The Mars Volta will headline the second stage on the opening Friday night, which is crowned by the return of Soundgarden. You Me At Six - Live At The Ballroom, Birmin ..It was the second night that You Me At Six were playing the Birmingham Ballroom and yet again the venue was completely sold out. Bouncers struggled to control the hordes of fans flooding through the doors. Anyone actually trying to get in would have to deal with the hundreds of adolescent females, screaming, crying and passing out before they made it past the barriers. Refused To Play DownloadRefused will return to the UK for the first time in 15 years this summer, to perform at Download. The collapse of Sonisphere has left a gaping hole in the festival calendar. One of the biggest rock and metal events in the country, its cancellation has left Download free to move forward and progress. Refused to play Download!Refused have been confirmed to appear at this year's Download festival. They're one of 13 new acts joining the line-up for the Donington three-dayer, which takes place on the weekend of June 8-10. Says Refused's Dennis Lyxzén: "We´re very excited to have been given the chance by the people at Download to play the festival and meet our UK fans for the first time in 15 or so years.
