Lou Reed has booked a European tour for the summer of 2012 where he will perform music from his entire discography; beginning with Velvet Underground through his polarizing collaboration with Metallica . Called the From Vu to Lulu tour, it will start in Luxembourg on Wednesday 6th June and will take in several festivals, including Switzerland's Caribana Festival, France's Montereau Festival, Berlin's Citadel Music Festival and Slovakia's renowned Pohoda Festival. Lou Reed has confirmed the entire tracklisting for his forthcoming 'Lollapalooza Live' DVD. Continually pushing forward, Lou Reed remains infuriatingly difficult to predict. Currently working on an album with thrash icons Metallica, the seminal singer is also putting the finishing touches to a new DVD. Performing at Lollapalooza back in 2009, the singer played a sparkling set alongside groups half his age. I've occasionally alluded to and raved about CBC Radio 2's Concerts on Demand archives and I'm about to again. I keep on close eye on the site because they are constantly recording great concerts across Canada and post at least a few every week.
