Jana Hunter and her Baltimore band Lower Dens return today with "Brains", taken from their upcoming second album,  Nootropics . "Brains" maintains the band's atmospheric character, but swaps some of Twin-Hand Movement 's raw texture for a crisply produced motorik feel.
