Maria & The Mirrors become a MadeleinePreviously, on Freq Jonny Mugwump’s label is throwing up some breathless oddbits. Every release is a tabula rasa, a slash and burn policy. Exotic Pylon is as fidgety as the radio show, a spastic in space and time and genre (never truly separated). He’s releasing stuff like a psychedelic squid. Chicago Friends: THE AGGROLITES to perform Y ..While browsing the racks at Record Breakers in Chicago last night (part of the Reggie's complex), I happened to notice the Record Store Day exclusive version of Rockabye Baby's Lullaby Renditions of THE SMITHS . That record led to a discussion about kids music with one of the employees in the store, who informed me that something cool is about to take place for music-loving parents and kids: THE AGGROLITES will be performing their Yo Gabba Gabba! song 'Banana' as part of a FREE IN-STORE FOR KIDS on Saturday, May 19th, 2012. This Week's Best Album Streams: 10th April 2 ..All week my earworm was Nick Lowe’s I Love The Sound Of Breaking Glass , with ‘glass’ replaced with ‘eggs’, such was the eggcitement about Easter.
