Bonobo are set to gather together a number of 'Black Sands' era remixes for a new compilation. Released in 2010, 'Black Sands' found Bonobo on reinvigorated form. Still focusing on nu-jazz and breaks, the album had a hefty dollop of bass as well as some forward thinking use of electronics. Rewarded with critical acclaim, 'Black Sands' spawned a series of remixes. Now Bonobo are set to collect the best of these along with some specially commissioned re-workings for a forthcoming album.
