News: Woollen Kits Talk US Tour, New Album ..Tom H, Tom R and Leon are Woollen Kits, three no-nonsense Melbourne dudes who write some damn catchy punk rock. After a couple EPs they recently released their debut LP on Sydney’s R.I.P Society, and are currently touring the US. Woollen KitsWoollen Kits are a three piece band from Melbourne, Australia. The trio has sprung out of the garage with their self-titled debut album, released via Sydney, Australia's R.I.P Society record label. Its nine primitive, gritty guitar tunes straddle surf pop, proto-punk and garage rock. The album was mastered by Mikey Young, guitarist for Aussie favorites Eddy Current Suppression Ring and member of the garage four-piece Ooga Boogas , whose debut album never leaves my side. Roomrunner - "Spinning"2011 brought the sad news that Baltimore hardcore firebrands Double Dagger are no more. Rising from the ashes of that band is Roomrunner , a new project from DD drummer Denny Bowen. Puerto Rico Flowers - 7Moving right along, Puerto Rico Flowers have just recently put out their first full-length album 7 (representing the number of songs on it), which follows up two successful releases thus far since debuting in 2010 with the 12” EP 4 .
