Now that the Books are finished making music together , they'll release a career-spanning box set. The set, which is slated for release "by the end of the summer," according to Nick Zammuto's email list, will include all of the duo's albums, plus audio and visual bonus material. Zammuto is keeping a blog in the weeks leading up to the box set's (yet-unannounced) release date, writing about the "recording process for each track, and the odd stories surrounding the project." Six years on since the chart-topping Desert Lights , Something For Kate will finally head back into the studio again. The trio – Paul Dempsey, Stephanie Ashworth and Clint Hyndman – will imminently depart for Dallas, Texas, where they will begin work on their sixth studio album, to be released locally on Capitol/EMI Music Australia in late-2012. It’ll be recorded with US producer John Congleton, who’s worked on records by Explosions In The Sky, St Vincent, Okkervil River and Modest Mouse.
