As the last track of All Hell segued into the opening track of The Basedprint 2 , I thought it was the same damn album. That’s ’cause All Hell has a somewhat similar cloud-rap sound — without the rapping, of course, but the music’s something like a Clams Casino instrumental. Teenage Sweater, "Coconut Water"The mechanized drums are the bottom layer of "Coconut Water", and they are completely dry, but when the synths come in, they are soaking wet. Teenage Sweater, the project of California's Mario Ruiz and Connor Alfaro, drapes his programming pad in waterfall-like cascades of synths and reverb-soaked vocals. No ano passado, lançaram o sensacional videoclipe de " Blue blood " misturando rotoscopia e ativismo anti-capitalismo. Agora, acabam de lançar o clipe de " Combat samba ", uma das melhores faixas do EP de estreia da banda, The Coconut Revolution Pt.1 . O problema é que "Combat samba", o vídeo, tem pouco a acrescentar artisticamente à banda e faz uso de elementos cada vez mais repetidos que podem acabar influenciando negativamente o julgamento de quem conhece a banda agora. Live Review: FLRL feat. Guerre and Yannis + ..The best things in life are free. This night was free. It was one of the best things in life. Ok, that’s not the soundest logic but I won a free beer earlier and saw some great live music for free so I’m trying to riff on this theme. Besides it was actually pretty damn amazing.
