In the various lore of dance music history, few tales offer the kismet of Curtis " Green Velvet " Jones accidentally recording the sermon on " Preacher Man " by southside Chicago radio preacher Rev. Trotter (further mythology that the sermon was by Aretha Franklin's father, CL Franklin, seems to be false).
