Blitzen Trapper’s drummer gets behind the ca ..Before Dave Grohl, drummers were unfairly regarded as a bit of a joke. Now they have solo projects which get critical praise, and in the case of Blitzen Trapper, drummer Brian Koch has directed the video for ‘Taking It Easy Too Long’. It’s, err, well, not bad. Yes, not bad. The song, on the other hand, is marvellously laid back but still carries an age worn warning. Vocally it’s spot on. If you like it, album ‘American Goldwing’ is out on Sub Pop.
