Splendid spinoffAfter being snubbed by Cher's disposal of the key to their fair city, Adelaide music fans finally have something to cheer about. Promoters of the Splendour In The Grass festival have announced a spinoff event on July 21 at the city’s Jubilee Pavilion featuring - among others - Lana Del Rey, Kimbra, Band Of Skulls and Last Dinosaurs. Tickets go on sale May 16. News: Splendour Buzz Bands In Adelaide Tour ..Following the demise of WA Splendour In The Grass spin-off On The Bright Side earlier this week – something about “conflicting artists schedules” – comes news a similar event will now take place in Adelaide. Yes, you read that correctly, something is actually happening in Adelaide. The “aptly titled” Spin Off will see the likes of Lana Del Rey, UK outfit Band of Skulls, Brooklyn monarchs of buzz Friends and local artists Kimbra, Last Dinosaurs, Bleeding Knees Club, DZ Deathrays and The Rubens perform at Jubilee Pavilion at Wayville Showgrounds on July 21.
