Stream: Shintaro SakamotoI have a soft spot in my heart for J-Pop/Rock. I have absolutely no clue what any of the songs are about, but there's a glorious excess there (and an absurd ear for hooks) that is hard to deny. So, it's weird how much I enjoy a subdued (by J-Pop standards) track from Shintaro Sakamoto (a big star in his homeland). Big Star's Third/Sister Lovers to be perform ..Arguably one of the best albums of the 70's, Big Star 's Third/Sister Lovers is set for a revival at The Barbican, London on May 28th. Joining Jody Stephens , the only surviving Big Star member, will be Sharron Van Etten , Robyn Hitchcock , Mike Mills (R.E.M.), Ira Kaplan (Yo La Tengo) and Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) to perform the entirety of the seminal album.
