News: Gurus Apologise To Melbourne: ‘We Comp ..The Hoodoo Gurus have apologised for cutting their set short at their Dig It Up! invitational in Melbourne yesterday (April 25). The Gurus performed their 1984 debut Stoneage Romeos in its entirety, as well as a three-song encore, including 'Be A Woman', 'Television Addict' and 'Be My Guru', but a misunderstanding between crowd and band saw them wind up their set after about 80 minutes. The band had planned to perform a second encore, but decided to pull the pin when they couldn’t hear the audience cheering from their dressing room. News: The Laurels Sign To Rice Is NiceSydney’s The Laurels have joined the likes of Richard In Your Mind, Seeake, Donny Benet and Straight Arrows at boutique indie Rice Is Nice. The deal will see the release of the band’s long-awaited debut album in the second half of 2012. Review: The Maple Trail - Cable Mount Warnin ..The Maple Trail’s third album Cable Mount Warning is a product visualised abroad and realised at home. The solo project of Belles Will Ring’s Aiden Roberts, the album was written over 18 months in the fragile terrain of New Zealand, the cityscape of New York City and his hometown of the Blue Mountains in NSW.
