Fearlessly nasty. And I love it. This group is just finishing up their tour with Balam Acab & Active Child and I wouldn’t be surprised if their next tour consisted of them headlining. It doesn’t sound like they’ll be warming the bench for much longer. Their single “Too Young For Love” opens with a simple synth which is immediately followed by a completely saturated array of electronic instruments — deep bass, drum machine and of course silky female vocals to top it off. The song bounces from a smooth R&B; rhythm to a fast-paced dance beat, and while the contrast is obvious, either tempo is bound to get you moving. On June 12, Charli XCX will release a new EP via IAMSOUND. In addition to “Nuclear Seasons” (and a pair of catchy remixes by Blood Orange and Balam Acab) the album will feature new track, “You’re The One.” She also has forthcoming tour dates.

London native dark-pop artist Charli XCX has announced that her long overdue EP You’re The One will be released on June 12 via IAMSOUND. However, fans may find themselves disappointed that they will technically only be getting one new song out of the deal… You’re The One features two tracks and a remix of each of the two tracks.
